Cross-country skiers will find eight cross-country trails of varying lengths and different degrees of difficulty in alternating altitudes and an artificially snowed and illuminated trail in the spa gardens of Bad Hofgastein.

What a delightful pleasure to move on crunchy snow when hiking or snowshoeing through a paradise in white. The Gastein Valley offers a lot of cleared winter hiking trails. Once a week, the tourism association offers guided natural history snowshoe hikes.
Four toboggan runs in the Gastein Valley are inviting for a very special kind of winter fun that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike:
BAD HOFGASTEIN - TOBOGGAN RUN "AEROPLAN"
Length about 3.3 kilometers, illuminated natural toboggan run, every Tuesday and Thursday evening operation of the "Schlossalm" cable car
BADGASTEIN - Bellevuealm
Length approximately 2.5 km, toboggan hire, with floodlight and chairlift, operated daily
DORFGASTEIN - TOBOGGAN RUN "DORFER BERG"
Length approximately 3.5 kilometers
DORFGASTEIN - TOBOGGAN RUN "GRUBERWALD"
from the middle station of the "Fulseck" cable car - downhill in direction "Mühlwinkel", illuminated toboggan run, sledge rental at the valley station
